Ten questions worth asking
1. What would you look at first in our business, and why? 2. What will be live and in use at the end? 3. How will we measure whether it worked? 4. Which tools would you use, and why those? 5. Who owns the accounts, code and workflows afterwards?
6. How do you stop the AI making costly mistakes? 7. How do you handle personal data under the PDPA? 8. What are the monthly running costs after launch? 9. What support do you provide when something breaks or our process changes? 10. Can we see, or speak to the owner of, a similar system you built?
Listen for specifics
Good answers name concrete steps, tools and measures. Weak answers stay at the level of 'we will transform your business with AI'. The quality of the answers is usually a good preview of the quality of the work.
