Skills worth teaching

Giving the AI the right context and an example of the output wanted. Asking it to ask clarifying questions. Breaking big tasks into steps. Working with documents, spreadsheets and meeting notes. Checking facts and numbers. Saving good prompts for reuse. Knowing which data must never be entered.

Tool-specific or general?

Teach on the tool your company has chosen, because features differ: Copilot works inside Microsoft 365 apps, Gemini inside Google Workspace, and ChatGPT and Claude have their own projects and file features. The underlying skills transfer, but hands-on practice should happen in the tool people will use on Monday.
