Why an SME should care
Most of the framework's principles translate into simple habits: know who is responsible for each AI system, keep a person involved in decisions that affect people, use reliable data, tell customers when they are dealing with AI, test before launch, and have a plan for when something goes wrong. Larger clients and partners increasingly ask suppliers about these points.
Where to find it
The generative AI version is published by the AI Verify Foundation, set up by IMDA. Singapore's approach has so far favoured guidance and testing tools over AI-specific legislation, but existing laws such as the PDPA still apply to AI use.
